Regina Gutierrez is a candidate for the Salt River Project Council representing District 8 because she believes everyday people deserve a voice in the decisions that affect their lives, including the cost of electricity and the future of our water and energy resources. Regina will:

  • Support policies that do not place unnecessary barriers on homeowners who want to install roof top solar panels

How to Vote in the Salt River Project Election

The property you own must be in a location SRP calls “votable lands”. Click below to see a map of these areas.

Request a ballot to vote by mail. This is a separate ballot from the one you use for other elections and needs to be requested directly from SRP by March 27.

Ballots must be received at SRP by 7 p.m. on April 7, either by mail or dropped off at SRP Headquarters. There is an in-person voting option as well.

Regina Gutierrez is a candidate for the Salt River Project Council representing District 8. She’s running because she believes everyday people deserve a voice in the decisions that affect their lives, including the cost of electricity and the future of our water and energy resources.

On the SRP Council, Regina will prioritize affordable electricity, support policies that do not place unnecessary barriers on homeowners who want to install roof top solar panels, and will champion responsible water conservation and environmentally beneficial energy sources. Regina will always keep affordability and customer impact as her top priority, and will work to expand programs that give monthly credits to low-income households.

Regina’s grandparents came to Arizona beginning in the 1940s in search of a better life, and she proudly continues their legacy of hard work and opportunity as she raises her daughter in Tempe. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in public administration, Regina brings real-world financial experience to the table, equipping her with the leadership expertise and public-service perspective needed to make thoughtful, responsible decisions.

For more than 25 years, Regina has worked in financial operations, including over two decades at Arizona State University. Throughout her career she has led diverse teams, managed limited resources effectively, and earned the trust of colleagues through honest, inclusive, and transparent leadership.
